Details about Islam in old Turkish literature, which has a religious identity, was written considering literary criteria and aesthetic values. The narration of religious issues, especially the subjects of faith, worship and morality, was made through poems that are more memorable due to prose and harmony, as well as prose texts. The existence of religious poems written for the guidance of the disciples in tekkes increased over time, and separate works were written on different subjects in each of the religious sciences such as religious sciences, kalam, tafsir, hadith, fiqh, and Sufism. Among these works, there are also verse ilmihâls aiming to teach basic religious knowledge. An example of this genre in this work the ilmihâl named Hakîkatü'l-Envâr will be examined. In our study, first of all, Seyyid Muhammed Ali Rıza was introduced. Later, the language, form, structure and expression characteristics of Hakîkatü'l-Envâr was examined and a transcribed text was prepared. The main goal of our study is to contribute to the literature of verse ilmihâls by bringing this work to light, which has a special importance in terms of continuing the tradition of writing verse science in the 20th century.
