Women's rights and family ties in ancient Turks were preserved as strictly and gracefully as to be sacred. To see the most accurate and real examples of this, it is enough to look at the old Turkish epics. While describing these relationships, our epics presents the Turkish tribe to which it belongs as a large family and take an individual approach from large family to small family. Here, both according to the narrative style of the events and the fineness of the poetry parts the importance and attention that is given to women, their family ties and social justice among them come to the fore. In a nomadic and semi-nomadic lifestyle, women ride horses, use swords, shoot arrows and go hunting. In Koroghlu Epic, the woman is both a wife and a warrior. This is mostly seen in variants specific to the Eastern version of the epic. In the western version, with the influence of the established lifestyle, women get more attached to home, she is a wife and friend, but it is still possible to see a warrior female character in some episodes. There are many female heroes in the Turkmen Goroghlu Epic. There are also warrior female characters among these women, and even warrior women sometimes rise to the level of protagonists of a branch. Many of these heroes came to Chandibil from other countries and became the bride of this land. Aghayunus Peri, wife of Goroghlu, is one of the leading female heroes in the epic. Her warrior side is not included in the epic texts. But since she is a fairy girl, she helps and inspires Goroghlu with her intuitive behavior and her ability to see the future. Aghayunus Peri always participates in Goroghlu's campaigns by understanding the course of events quickly and properly and making rational decisions. Hunkar's daughter Servican is more close to the character of Aghayunus Peri. She has extraordinary abilities and is engaged in witchcraft. Heroes such as Harmandeli, Gulayım, Tellihan, Aysoltan are also model to the warrior women in the epic. Among them, Harmandeli is famous for both her valor, poetry, profession of ashug and one of the branches is called after her. Even Goroghlu has not been able to defeat this warrior woman who defies the men of the region, both in wrist strength and in saz and word. Daring women like Gulayım and Tellihan are also characters who show heroism in battles with their husbands. Aysoltan is a woman brave enough to come to Chandibil and fight Goroghlu to avenge her brother Bezirgen, who was killed by Goroghlu. One of the main characteristics of warrior women has been to hide covering their faces on the battlefields and fight by wearing men's clothes. In our opinion, the influence of Islam religion manifests itself in this motif. In the article, the woman in Goroghlu Epic: valor and warrior characteristics, social duties, value given to women, etc. will be explained. Family and kinship relationships that have lived in our customs and traditions for centuries and survived until today will be explained with examples from the epic, and family relations will be emphasized
