Öz
Bu çalışmada, yurdumuzda üretilen sentetik silika ve karbon siyahı kullanılarak azot atmosferi altında dinamik bir sistem içerisinde α-silisyum nitrür (Si3N) seramik tozlarının sentezlemesi ve toz özellikleri araştırılmıştır. Bu çalışmada kullanılan yöntem literatürde bir ilk olup benzer sistemlerde statik ortamda 1450 oC veya daha yüksek sıcaklıklarda minimum 4 saatte elde edilen Si3N4 seramik tozu, bu çalışma ile dinamik ortamda 1,5 saat gibi çok daha kısa sürede elde edilmiştir. Sisteme yüklenen SiO2`nın tümü %93–97 oranında α-fazı ve %3–7 oranında ise β-fazında Si3N4 tozuna dönüşmüştür. Elde edilen ilk bulguların paylaşıldığı bu çalışma daha çok prosesin genel şeması ve elde edilen tozların nitelikleri ile bunların ticari tozlarla kıyaslanmasını kapsamaktadır
