Disability is a physical or mental impairment substantially limiting a person's developmental or acquired vital activities. Disability may occur due to events occurring before, during, or after birth, or from acquired causes. Disability is a complex situation that is difficult for the child to maintain. A disabled child is defined as a child in need of care who has a lack of perception, evaluation and application of incoming stimuli, who cannot establish a connection between his experiences and what he has learned, and who has limited communication with the outside world, and who cannot reach his peers physically, cognitively and emotionally. Disabled children need more attention and love than their peers. It provides the sense of burden that the family perceives while meeting the care needs of the disabled child, personal reactions and providing care. Family is crucial for disabled children to improve their adaptation performance and overcome problems. The use of a disabled person causes a constant dependent relationship with parents and needing care, being more resistant to hiding, experiencing intense frustration, and increasing anxiety. Children with chronic illness or disability should be supported socially, economically, physically and emotionally by parents, the state and society. Necessary legal and social regulations should be made so that they have equal rights with their peers.
