Since sufism, whose subject is human and human heart, is a science related to the perfection of essence and behavior rather than words, in Sufism, many stories about the lives of saint and saint, who are friends of Allah, have been formed. These stories, which are often referred to as legend among the people, give them various lofty feelings in the way of divine love and affection, while maturing their faith and conveying their moral principles in a functional context. Thus, the basic building blocks of the religion of Islam, that is, the main concepts, are easily accessible to a wide range of audiences by means of stories that are in the form of advice and advice. The frequently seen stories in the Quran are exemplary and message-content narratives. The fact that the subjects described in the stories are especially from life has caused to leave an impressive and intense mark in the hearts of those who listen to it. The aim of lecturing in the stories is to show the way to the truth by narrating with an imaginary and figurative expression. The point to be considered here is that the stories reflect the reality, they do not include imaginary elements. Therefore, the stories that exist in Sufism in terms of their aforementioned qualities are instrumental in the progress of the followers by maturing and ripening in their journey of divine love.
Many researches and publications have been made on the mentioned functions and features of the stories. One of the divine pioneers of universal values, the Anatolian saint, Turkish sufieren and poet Yunus Emre, has a special place and value at this point. The fact that the works about Yunus Emre are included in visual projects as well as in oral and written ones reveals the value given to him. In this context, TRT 1 broadcasted 44 episodes between 2015-2016 on the occasion of Ramadan. In this study, based on the TV series called “Yunus Emre Aşkın Yolculuğu”, the “stories” in the series will be identified and deciphered. Some of these 43 stories will be analyzed functionally and a conclusion will be reached.
