Yıl 2018, Cilt: 5 Sayı: 4, 181 - 186, 31.12.2018

Objective: Today, especially in young
adults, physical, psychological and social changes are experienced intensively.
For this reason, increasing the quality of life in the mentioned period
increases the interest and importance of researches. When the literature is examined,
quality of life is defined as psychological, social and economic comfort in
addition to the physiological integrity of individuals. The participation of
young people of developmental age in sustainable recreative activities and the
transformation of healthy activity and physical activity participation into a
lifestyle should be encouraged to provide comfort for these physiological and
sociological parameters. The aim of this study is to investigate the
relationship between participation in recreational physical activities and
improving the quality of life in the context of aktivit effectiveness theory.

Material and Method: The method of research is descriptive survey model.

Findings and Results: As a result of active participation in the
recreational activities, it is expected to increase the quality of life by
bringing a healthy life, protecting and improving the physical and mental
health, supporting the treatment of various chronic diseases and socializing. It
is expected that the survey will present general evaluations on sustainable
recreational activities.
