It is conceivable that Allah sends His messengers to humankind in order to guide them to the right path. If human believes in Allah, this necessarily requires that he should also believe that He is in contact with His creatures. Theistic conception of God requires this relationship. At that point the miracles come up as the means of confirmation the messengers’ mission, i.e. messengership. In this sense, the miracle is an extraordinary act or event that is contrary to experience of humans via direct intervention of God Almighty Himself in order to make each messenger credible in his particular time and place and support him. And besides, people are unable to do that kind of things. First of all, the real agents for miracles is not prophet but God. The saying “miracle of messenger” is not more than a metaphor. The focal point that Allah creates it on the hands of the messenger is to prove his sincerity and to support him. We learn from Qur’an that many messengers miracle were the subject of sense perception. Contrary to this sensory perception of miracles, Prophet Muhammad was given totally different kind of miracle, namely the Qur'an. It is the miraculous book by its content syntax, and nature which challenged and quashed people to bring similar one.
