Education is a process that is related to each other. This process involves the care
of a child, moral decency and education. It is necessary to think about the education of
the Turkic in this process. It is an important stage of Turkish education that people who
read and write the basic knowledge of Turkic people think from within Turkic. The fact
that Turkish education is actually education of one’s power of comprehension and that
it can be done by literary works is a well-known fact in our history. Unfortunately, the
first thing that comes to mind when it comes to Turkish education today is speaking and
writing education from basic to advanced level. However, this is a restrictive approach.
This stage, which is a succession of the Turkish education process, should not be seen
as the whole of this education. The actual education of Turkish starts with this opinion
after our opinion. It is evident that Turkish education through the use of literary texts will
improve the level of perception in the person. It is not possible for the people who come
face to face with popular books of ordinary culture today to cover the necessary distance
in Turkish education. For this reason, poetry, parables, stories and remarks which are the
literary qualities of the students who will develop the comprehension power of the students
in Turkish education should be used. In this study, the function and importance of
using such literary works in Turkish education will be examined by giving examples from
the view of Greek and Chinese cultures.
