Due to its adaptability, wheat has the advantages of growing in very wide climate and geographical ecosystems. Wheat is the most important nutrient for human nutrition, it also makes up about 20% of the calories from food all over the world. Sunn pest (Eurygaster integriceps Put.) (Hemiptera; Scutelleridae) is one of the most important pest of wheat. The egg parasitoid, Trissolcus semistriatus Nees. (Hymenoptera: Scelionidae) is the most common and best-known egg parasitoid of the Sunn pest, in Turkey. In this study, Cypermethrin, Alpha- Cypermethrin, Lambda-Cyhalothrin, and Deltamethrin, which are still used in the fight against Sunn pest, were performed under laboratory conditions in order to determine some biological properties of T. semistriatus, which parasitize Sunn pest eggs. For this aim, T. semistriatus parasitoids were given to the eggs that were contaminated by spraying and dipping method and their parasites were provided. As a result of this study, the effect of insecticides used in the control of the Sunn pest and contaminated Sunn pest eggs on the parasitic strength and survival rates of T. semistriatus adults was classified as harmless or less harmful with an average grade of 30%.
