One of our important researchers, whose names are identified with the cities where he was born, grew up or lived for a long time, is İbrahim Aslanoğlu. For Aslanoğlu, the book “Pir Sultan Abdallar” is an important product of labor, which he put forward by comparing the data and documents he obtained by traveling from village to village for 40 years. Aslanoğlu determined that 6 poets with Alevi-Bektashi belief used the same or similar pseudonyms as in “Yunus Emre”. It has been revealed as a result of various investigations that 161 of the poems, which were determined as 427 in total, belong to Banazlı Pir Sultan. Along with the stories told about Aslanoğlu, Pir Sultan Abdal and Hızır Pasha; By examining archive mühimme books, edicts, sharia registers and historical records, he made a healthy guess about the date of appointment of Hızır Pasha and the years of Pir Sultan Abdal’s death.

This situation made the Safavid domination, which the Turkmen had to rely on, stronger in the region.
