Aile İçi Şiddetin Önlenmesi İçin Bir Model Önerisi: Halk Sağlığı Hemşiresinin Ev Ziyareti ile Aile İzlemi

Öz

Fiziksel, cinsel, duygusal ve ekonomik formlarda kendini gösteren aile içi şiddet dünya
genelinde oldukça yaygın olarak görülen ve ciddi boyutları ile sadece birey ya da aileyi
değil tüm toplumu ilgilendiren bir konudur. Bu nedenle, aile içi şiddet bir insan hakları
ve halk sağlığı sorunudur. Aile içi şiddetin kadınların sağlığı, yaşam kalitesi ve çocukların
üzerinde olan ciddi sonuçları nedeniyle şiddetin önlenmesi ve ortadan kaldırılması yönünde
harekete geçilmesi gerekmektedir. Literatürde aile içi şiddeti önlemeye yönelik yapılan
etkinliği kanıtlanmış programlarda hemşirelerin aktif rollerinin olduğu ortaya konmuştur.
Hemşirelerin bu aktif rollerini gerçekleştirebilmeleri için aileyi ve aile bireylerini düzenli
olarak değerlendirmeleri gerekmektedir. Etkin bir değerlendirme ve izlemin yapabilmesini
sağlayan en uygun yöntem ev ziyaretleridir. Yapılan ev ziyaretleri ile aile yakından
değerlendirip şiddetin varlığı ya da riski belirlenebilir, girişimlerde bulunulabilir ve şiddet
ortaya çıkmadan önlenmesini sağlanabilir. Ülkemizde aile içi şiddeti önlemeye yönelik
birinci basamak sağlık hizmetleri kapsamında herhangi bir uygulama mevcut değildir. Bu
nedenle aile içi şiddeti önlemeye yönelik birinci basamak sağlık hizmetleri kapsamında
yapılacak uygulamalara ihtiyaç vardır. Bu makale, Türkiye’de birinci basamak sağlık
hizmetleri kapsamında aile içi şiddeti önlemeye yönelik Aile Sağlığı Merkezi ve Toplum  Sağlığı Merkezlerinde halk sağlığı hemşireleri tarafından ev ziyaretlerine dayalı bir model
önerisi geliştirilmesi amacıyla yazılmıştır.
