Lise Düzeyindeki Kız Öğrencilerin Fiziksel Uygunluk Düzeylerinin ve Obezite Eğilimlerinin İncelenmesi

Öz

Obezite, küresel bir sağlık sorunudur ve gençler de dahil olmak üzere tüm yaş gruplarını etkilemektedir. Lise düzeyi kız öğrencilerin fiziksel uygunluk düzeyleri ile obezite eğilimlerinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanan bu çalışma, Erzurum ilinde öğrenim görmekte olan 1069 katılmcı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma öncesinde etik kurul ve kurum izinleri ile, katılımcılardan veya velilerinden, imzalanmış bilgilendirilmiş gönüllü oluru alınmıştır. Katılımcılara antropometrik ölçümler ve EUROFIT testi uygulanmıştır. Analizler için IBM SPSS 22 istatistiksel analiz programı kullanılmıştır. Verilerin normal dağılıp dağılmadığı, değişim katsayısı ile test edilmiştir. Normal dağılan verilerin analizi için ANOVA ve Tukey HSD post hoc testleri; normal dağılıma uygun olmayan verilerde, Kruskal-Wallis H ve Mann-Whitney U testleri kullanılmıştır. Değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler Pearson ve Spearman korelasyon testleri ile analiz edilmiştir. Fiziksel uygunluk testlerinden elde edilen performanslar ve antropometrik ölçümler ile BKİ arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi için regresyon analizinden faydalanılmıştır. Katılımcıların fiziksel uygunluk düzeylerinin düşük, BKİ değerlerinin kabul edilir düzeyde ve obezite eğilimlerinin de düşük olduğu, BKİ düzeylerinin fiziksel performansları etkilediği, BKİ düzeyi arttıkça sürat, kuvvet, kassal dayanıklılık, denge ve aerobik uygunluk düzeylerinin negatif yönde etkilendiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
