Öz
The purpose of this research is to reveal the effects of the Covid-19 process on the parent-child relationship through qualitative interviews. The data obtained by interviewing a total of 11 people, including 6 parents and 5 children, were analyzed with the Nvivo-12 program. The nature of the parent-child relationship was tried to be revealed under the themes/headings of "Problem Areas" and "Functional Aspects of the Family" obtained as a result of the inductive analysis. Under the heading "Problem Areas", the sub-headings of 'educational problems', 'technology addiction', 'problems in family relations' and 'psychological problems', and under the heading of "Functional Aspects of the Family", 'spending time together' and 'structural characteristics of the family' subheadings has been obtained. According to the research findings, the problem areas experienced by children during the pandemic process have negatively affected the parent-child relationship -because of the constant discussion between parents and their children. It has been revealed that the family is not functional in terms of 'spending time together', since the situation of family members spending time with each other during the pandemic process does not change compared to normal times but that it can be functional in terms of 'structural features of the family', such as an established family order, good communication and sharing, being wide living space at home, and not
