In this research, it is aimed to systematically examine the publications that examine generations in national nursing literature, and reveal the similarities and differences in research results. In the research, a total of 10 studies, which were; reached by using "generations", "X generation", "Y generation", "Z generation" and "nursing" keywords on Google Scholar site, performed in Turkish sample and published between 2014-2019 years, were examined. As the result of analysis, it was found that most of the studies were carried out in 2017 (n:4) and in Aegean region (n:3), in Health Ministry Hospitals (n:4) and universities (n:4), and in the nurse (n:5) sample. The studies were descriptive (n:7) or cross-sectional (n:3) type. In the studies, the researchers have formed the questions about generations generally by themselves (n:9) and in addition have used the "Organizational and Professional Commitment Scales" (n:2) and the "Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale" (n:2). The researches mostly include findings regarding the nurses’ attitudes, job satisfaction, organizational and professional commitment levels and intentions to leave the job and profession. As the result of research, it is noteworthy that there are no studies about the status of nurses working in private hospitals regarding generations and nursing. Although issues as the nurses' commitment to the organization or the profession have been investigated in studies, there are many more issues to be addressed.
