BESLEME VE RF GİRİŞ GÜCÜ ŞARTLARININ WİMAX GÜÇ YÜKSELTECİ PERFORMANS PARAMETRELERİNE OLAN ETKİSİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Öz
Bu çalışmada 50MHZ-6GHz frekans aralığında çalışan SBB5089Z Güç
Yükselteci (GY) modülünün, RF giriş gücü (Pgiriş) -20dBm’den 10dBm’e
kadar 2dB’lik artış ile ve besleme gerilim değerleri (VDC) 0V’dan 5V’a
kadar 75mV’luk adımlarla değiştirilmiştir. Çalışmada değişen VDC ve
Pgiriş değerlerine göre Pçıkış, kazanç (G) ve eklenmiş
güç verimliliği (EGV (%)) grafikleri 3.5GHz ve 5.8GHz WiMAX frekanslarında ayrı
ayrı incelenmiştir. Değişen RF Pgiriş ve VDC değerlerine göre
GY modülü Pgiriş-VDC’ye karşılık Pçıkış, G ve
EGV (%) grafikleri ayrı ayrı incelenmiştir. GY modülü RF Pgiriş
koşulları manuel olarak RF sinyal jeneratörü ile DC gerilim değerleri ise
Arduino’lu R/2R sayısal analog dönüştürücü (SAD) ve LM324 gerilim izleyici
devresi kullanılarak değiştirilmiştir. Çalışmada elde edilen verilere göre 1dB
kazanç sıkıştırma noktasına (P1dB) kadar artırılan Pgiriş
değerlerine ve 5V’a kadar artırılan VDC değerlerine göre GY Pçıkış,
G ve EGV(%) davranışının olumlu yönde değiştiği gözlenmiştir.

In this study, DC conditions (VDC) and RF
input power (Pinput) of SBB5089Z power amplifier (PA) module that
operates 50MHZ-6GHz frequency interval, have changed. RF Pinput have
changed from -20dBm to 10dBm with 2dB steps, as well as VDC has
changed with 75mV steps-6 bit resolution- from 0V to 5V. Poutput,
gain (G) and power added efficiency (PAE (%)) have investigated graphically
according to varying RF Pinput and VDC at 3.5GHz and
5.8GHz WiMAX frequencies. RF Pinput of PA module conditions have
manually changed with RF signal generator, as well as DC conditions have
changed with Arduino biasing control unit which includes R/2R digital analog
converter (DAC) and LM324 voltage follower. According to the data obtained in
this study, it has been observed that behavior of Poutput, G and EGV
(%) have changed positively according to the increase of Pinput up
to 1dB gain compression point (P1dB) and VDC values
increased up to 5V.
