Turkish Building Earthquake Code (TBEC18) and Earthquake Hazard Map were published in 2018. In TBEC18, four different earthquake ground motion levels (DD-1, DD-2, DD-3, DD-4) are defined. Furthermore, the spectral acceleration coefficients corresponding to earthquake ground motion levels and soil classes are given on the seismic hazard map. In this study, the ground shear forces in the reinforced concrete frames, relative floor displacements and bending moment values in beams were calculated for various earthquake ground motion levels and soil classes. 5-layer and 10-layer reinforced concrete frame models are used in the calculations. The frame models are designed to meet the TBEC18, TS500 and TS498 code requirements. The analyses were carried out using the SAP2000 structural analysis program by using the modal combination method. Spectral acceleration coefficients were taken from the earthquake hazard map of Afyonkarahisar City Centre according to soil classes ZA, ZB, ZC, ZD, ZE and four earthquake ground motion levels. The ground shear forces, relative floor displacements and bending moment values of the two frames were compared according to the earthquake ground motion levels and soil classes.
