TÜRKİYE’DE SİVİL HAVACILIK SEKTÖRÜNDE İSTİHDAMIN MEVCUT DURUMU, SORUNLARI VE SORUNLARIN ÇÖZÜMÜNE YÖNELİK ÖNERİLER
Öz
Havacılık sektöründeki küresel serbestleşme, sektörde artan rekabetin getirdiği cazip bilet fiyatları, artan orta sınıfa sahip yüksek yaşam standartları gibi nedenlerle birlikte sivil havacılık alanındaki yenilikler ve değişimler de kaçınılmaz hale gelmiştir. Sivil havacılık sektörü, ülkemizde Cumhuriyetin ilk yıllarından itibaren önem verilen bir sektör olmasına rağmen; diğer ulaştırma modlarına verilen öncelikler, yaşanan ekonomik krizler vb. nedenlerle 2000’li yıllara kadar istenilen seviyeye ulaşamamıştır. Sektörün dünyada ve ülkemizdeki istihdam rakamları da bu hızlı gelişmeye paralel bir artış göstererek; dünya genelinde yaklaşık 62 milyon kişiye, Türkiye’de ise yaklaşık 200 bin kişiye doğrudan ya da dolaylı olarak istihdam sağlayan bir sektör konumuna gelmiştir. İstihdamın geleceğinde ise hızlı artışlar beklenmektedir. Havacılık sektörünün milli gelir ve istihdam olmak üzere ekonomi üzerinde önemli bir etkisi vardır. Türkiye’deki istihdama ve dolayısıyla GSYİH’ya katkısı açısından önemi her geçen gün artan sivil havacılık sektörünün mevcut istihdam durumunun ortaya konması bu çalışmanın temel amacıdır. Ayrıca çalışmamızda sektörün mevcut istihdam sorunları ortaya konarak, bu sorunlara yönelik çözüm önerileri geliştirilmiştir

Innovations and changes in the field of civil aviation have become inevitable with reasons such as global liberalization in the aviation sector, attractive competition in the sector, attractive ticket prices, high living standards with increasing middle class. Although the civil aviation sector is an important sector in our country since the first years of the Republic, priorities given to other modes of transport, economic crises, etc. for some reason it has not reached the desired level until 2000's. The employment figures of the sector both in the world and in our country show an increase parallel to this rapid development; has become a sector providing employment directly or indirectly to approximately 62 million people in the world and about 200 thousand in Turkey. Rapid increases are expected in the future of employment. The aviation industry has a significant impact on the economy, including national income and employment. The main objective of this work is to reveal the current employment situation of the civil aviation sector, which is increasing day by day in terms of employment in Turkey and thus contribution to GDP

JOEEP accepts and publishes the research articles in the fields of economics, political economy, fiscal economics, applied economics, business economics, labour economics and econometrics. JOEEP, without depending on any institution or organization, is a non-profit journal that has an International Editorial Board specialist on their fields.
