TARIMSAL KATMA DEĞERİ ETKİLEYEN FAKTÖRLER ÜZERİNE BİR İNCELEME: E7 ÜLKELERİ ÖRNEĞİ

Öz

Gelişen ülkelerin
kalkınmalarına eşlik eden yapısal dönüşüm süreçlerinde, emek-yoğun teknolojiye
ve düşük katma değere sahip olan tarımsal üretimden ve doğal kaynağa dayalı
büyümeden, katma değeri yüksek ve ileri teknolojiye dayalı büyüme sürecine
geçilmesi gerekmektedir. Üretim sürecinin ve tüketimin bu denli küresel bir
boyuta ulaştığı günümüz dünyasında, gelişen ekonomilerin en zorunlu
ihtiyaçlarından olan tarımsal ürün talebinin göz ardı edilmemesi gerekmektedir.
Gelişmiş ve gelişen ülkelerin tarımsal ürün üretimindeki farklı katma değer
yapıları nedeniyle, yükselen ekonomilerin tarımsal üretimdeki mevcut durumunu
ve bu ülkelerin sektördeki etkinliğini belirleyen faktörlerin tespiti, çalışmanın
temel amacıdır. Bu kapsamda,  ekonomik
karmaşıklık endeksi, politik istikrar endeksi, hükümet etkinliği endeksi ile
tarımsal katma değer arasındaki ilişkiler nedensellik analizi ile incelenmektedir.
Sonuç olarak; hükümet etkinliği endeksi hem ekonomik karmaşıklık endeksini hem
de tarımsal katma değeri etkilerken, politik istikrardan hükümet etkinliğine
nedensellik bulunmuştur. Ekonomik karmaşıklık endeksinin tarımsal ürün katma
değeri etkilemesinin yanı sıra tarımsal katma değerden de hükümet etkinliği
endeksine bir nedensellik bulunmuştur.
