Saldırganlık ve Sosyal Davranış Ölçeği Uyarlama Çalışması

Öz

Bu çalışma, farklı örneklemlerde, Saldırganlık ve Sosyal Davranış Ölçeği’nin (SSDÖ) uyarlamasının psikometrik özelliklerini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, SSDÖ’nün psikometrik özelliklerini test etmek için yetişkin örneklemi (n = 781) ve öğrenci (n = 446) örneklemi olmak üzere iki ayrı ve bağımsız örneklem kullanılmıştır. SSDÖ’nün yapı geçerliliğini test etmek için Çalışma 1'deki yetişkin örnekleminde açımlayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır. Çalışma 2'deki öğrenci örneklemi üzerinde ise doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır. Ölçeğin güvenirliği, iç tutarlılık ve madde- toplam korelasyon katsayıları incelenmiştir. SSDÖ’nün, ölçüt geçerliliği, Saldırganlık, Mağduriyet, Prososyal Davranış ve Ayrıcalık alt ölçeklerinin dürtüsellik, duygusal ihmal ve istismar, perspektif alma, fiziksel ve sözel saldırganlık, düşmanlık ve öfke değişkenleri ile anlamlı düzeyde korelasyonların ortaya konmasıyla desteklenmiştir. Dört faktörlü çözüm modeli öğrenci örneği için yeterli uyumu ortaya koymaktadır. Çalışmanın sonuçları ilgili literatür kapsamında tartışılmıştır. Gelecekteki çalışmalar için önerilerden ve mevcut çalışmanın sınırlılıklarından bahsedilmektedir.

AdaptationStudy of the Self-Report Aggression and Social Behavior Measure (SRASBM)

Öz

This study aims to examine psychometric properties of adapted version of the Self-Report Aggression and Social Behavior Measure (SRASBM) in different Turkish samples. In order to test the psychometric properties of the SRASBM two separate and independent samples are used in this study, namely community sample of adults (n = 781) and student sample (n = 446). For testing the construct validity of SRASBM, exploratory factor analysis is performed on community sample of adults in Study 1. Further, confirmatory factor analysis is performed on student sample in Study 2. Concerning the reliability of the scale, internal consistency and item-total correlation coefficients have been examined. Concurrent validity of the scale is supported by revealing the significant associations of Aggression, Victimization, Prosocial Behavior and Exclusivity subscales of SRASBM with impulsivity, emotional neglect and abuse, perspective taking, physical and verbal aggression, hostility and anger. Four-factor solution model reveals adequate fit for the student sample. Results of the study are discussed within the scope of relevant literature. Limitations and suggestions for future studies are mentioned.
