The purpose of the study is to compare the teacher professional attitude of teacher candidates have completed teaching practice, according to gender. In this study, 24 women and 25 men in a total of 49 students participated attending to physical education and sports teaching department. "Teacher Professional Attitude Scale" was used developed by Çetin (2006) as the data collection tools. The differences of students' attitudes was determined according to the total score and "the like, harmony, value" subscales scores obtained from the scale. To analyze the data was used descriptive statistical analysis, and also the "independent sample t-test" was used for comparing the attitude of groups. The alpha was accepted as 0,05. The results obtained from the data indicated that; while teacher professional attitude of candidates' total scores did not differ significantly prior to the practice, there was a significant difference after practice according to gender. After the practice, women had significantly high score (t= 3,06; p=0,004) than men at the point of "the value attitude" subscale. Moreover, men had significantly high score (t= -2,78; p=0,008) than women at the point of "the harmony attitude" subscale. As a result; after teaching practice, it can be said that the teacher candidates' professional attitudes differ according to gender.
