Our world is constantly changing everday and society's social dinamics change with it. Among these dinamics, understanding of social responsibility has quickly risen in recent times. This understanding extends to a corporation's responsible actions towards its social surroundings, the community it serves and all its shareholders. When trying to fulfill their social responsibilities organizations act in the best interests of their shareholders by obligation as well as their desire to gain positive reputation and respect. Organizations that gain positive reputation in direct result of these actions will correspondently gain success. Social responsibility is not just related to a single industry, it is a concept that affects all classes of society. Non-government organizations bear crucial liabilities in the wide scope that emcompasses this social responsibility approach. Non-government organizations take many actions for the benefit of society and social welfare, therefore they contribute to the field of social responsibilty through and for their target audience, volunteers and employees. In this study, Social Responsibility Studies of Yeşilay were examined.
