Increasing the living comfort, which tends to decline in cities today due to rapidly increasing urbanization and planning deficiencies, is possible with the equal access of urban residents to urban services. In this context, designing public spaces in a way that is accessible to everybody should be among the basic urban planning objectives. In this study, the current conditions of the pedestrian roads in the city center of Çorlu and the use of these spaces by the disabled individuals were evaluated. The material of the study includes Atatürk, Bülent Ecevit and Cumhuriyet Boulevard, Kumyol and Omurtak Street which constitute the main axes of Tekirdağ’s Çorlu district and where intensive public use is observed. The method of the research consists of literature research, fieldwork and analysis of data. In this context, within the scope of the research; the width, slope, surface material of the pedestrian roads, ramps, pedestrian crossings, urban reinforcement elements and the current vegetative material have been revealed, and suggestions have been made to solve the problems.
