The aim of the study is to reveal the reasons for school administrators' conflicts among themselves, what needs to be done to prevent conflicts, and the effects of these conflicts on teachers. The research is in the type of qualitative research and was carried out in the phenomenology research design. In the 2021-2022 academic year, 12 school administrators and 12 branch teachers, who were selected according to the maximum diversity sampling among the purposeful sampling methods, in Kocaeli province Izmit district participated in the study. The data were obtained with a semi-structured interview form and analyzed using content analysis. According to the results of the research, the causes of conflict; Causes of conflict arising from duties and responsibilities, reasons of conflict arising from differences in purpose, ideas and opinions, and reasons of conflict arising from communication. Measures to be taken to prevent conflicts between managers; These are the precautions to be taken regarding ignorance of conflict management, the precautions to be taken regarding duties and responsibilities, and the precautions to be taken regarding communication. It has been determined that conflicts have different effects on the motivation, duties and responsibilities of teachers.
