Under the influence of globalization, the distinctions between foreign and domestic policy, political sphere, economy and military sphere have blurred, and the uncertainty associated with the end of the cold war has placed new responsibilities on the media to protect the international image. Image is of great importance for both individuals and institutions in today's developing and transforming conditions. In general, it is possible to explain the image as the sum of the understanding and impressions left in the minds about any person, institution or country. The image of a country is the external image of countries and the way they are perceived by the public. The idea of the country's image is given not only by how the state presents itself to its citizens, but also by how it is perceived in the international arena. In this sense, the media are a very important factor in determining the country's image. In this sense, some predictions can be made about how countries are represented in the foreign press and what is the image of the country in the media. Given this fact, countries should monitor and evaluate news about themselves in the media on a daily basis. Thus, countries can see how they are presented in the media and how the image is built in public perception, and also have the opportunity to influence this. This study aims to determine how news about Türkiye is presented in the foreign press and how the image is created in this context. Moreover, one of the goals is to help shape the perception of international public opinion by identifying the general situation in the country.
