In this study, it is aimed to determine the opinions about the characteristics of gifted children. The study group consists of 5 teachers, 4 students, 3 nurses, 3 workers, 3 research assistants, 2 doctors, 1 representative, 2 housewives, a total of 23 people. As a data collection tool, a semi-structured interview form which consisting of 7 questions was used to reveal the views on the characteristics of the gifted. The data were analyzed with the descriptive analysis method, which is one of the qualitative data analysis types. The edited data were supported, where necessary, by direct quotations from the statements of the sample group. According to the results obtained, the participants stated that gifted people have the ability to perceive quickly and easily, learn quickly and easily, have a wide vocabulary, are introverted and asocial, feel lonely and more emotional, are excluded by their peers, and are not accepted.
