The purpose of
this research is to determine whether the students’ perceptions about the
quality of the service in higher education and school climate differ
significantly in terms of different variables. The research also aims to
investigate whether there exists a significant relation between the quality of
service in higher education and school climate. The study group of the research
consists of 588 students at a state university in 2017-2018 academic years. The
data was obtained through the ‘Scale of Service Quality in Higher Education’
and ‘School Climate Scale’. It was concluded that there is a positive, medium
and significant relation between service quality and school climate. The
results also revealed that school climate perceptions differ significantly in
terms of school type and university club membership variables while service
quality perceptions differ significantly in terms of gender, order of school
preference and grade level.
