The collapse of the Palestinian economy after October 7 and the economic policy of Israeli aggression

Öz

This analysis addresses the economic outcomes and potential threats of a regional war following Israel's aggression against Gaza and Lebanon after the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation. The Israeli aggression resulted in widespread destruction in Gaza and caused numerous social and economic issues in the West Bank. Additionally, Israel faced significant financial costs due to these operations. Israel's extension of the conflict into Lebanon has created the risk of a large-scale regional war. The intense attacks launched by Israel against Hezbollah have heightened tensions in the region, and with Iran's involvement in the conflict, the risk of a regional war has increased. This analysis posits that a "controlled conflict" approach is being managed in light of international balances dependent on energy and trade, aiming to achieve strategic interests.

يتناول هذا التحليل النتائج الاقتصادية والتهديدات المحتملة لحرب إقليمية في أعقاب عدوان "إسرائيل" على غزة ولبنان بعد عملية "طوفان الأقصى"، إذ أدى القصف الإسرائيلي إلى دمار واسع في غزة، كما تسبب في العديد من المشكلات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية في الضفة الغربية، كما أن "إسرائيل" واجهت تكلفة مالية باهظة نتيجة لهذه العمليات. أما نقل "إسرائيل" الصراع إلى لبنان، فقد خلق خطر نشوب حرب إقليمية واسعة النطاق. ومع ذلك، فإن الأطراف تحاول تجنب اندلاع حرب شاملة. يفترض هذا التحليل أن نهج "الصراع المسيطَر عليه" يُدار في ضوء التوازنات الدولية التي تعتمد على الطاقة والتجارة؛ وذلك لتحقيق مصالح إستراتيجية.
