Career management is the process of developing employees' talents, providing high performance, and providing access to advancement opportunities. This process can become more complex for those working in an environment with political interactions. This research aims to evaluate how talented people can better manage their careers by examining the effect of political ability on career management. The main purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the political ability of accommodation employees on career management. For this purpose, the population of the research consists of five-star hotel employees operating in Antalya Belek. The data of the research were collected by survey technique from 432 accommodation establishment employees selected by convenience sampling method. A structural equation model was used to analyze the data. As a result of the research, participants completed scales assessing their political ability and career management levels. As a result of the applied analyses, a moderate relationship was detected between the political ability and career management of accommodation employees. In addition, it has been revealed that the effect of political competence, which is the main aim of the research, on career management is high in a positive direction. The results are discussed in terms of relevant literature and practical implications.
