Ozonun Oral Cerrahide Kullanımı

Öz

Oksijenin
‌triatomik ve kararsız bir formu olan ozon tıp ve diş hekimliği alanlarında alternatif
veya tamamlayıcı tedavide uzun zamandır kullanılmaktadır. Günümüzde non-invaziv
ve düşük maliyetli bir tedavi seçeneği olan ozon terapisi ozon gazının antimikrobiyal,
antihipoksik, immunstimülatif, biyosentetik, hemostazı destekler, ayrıca analjezik
etkileri nedeniyle oral cerrahide kullanımı giderek yaygınlaşmaktadır. Bu
derlemenin amacı ozonun özellikleri, etki mekanizması ve tıp, diş hekimliği ve
özellikle oral cerrahideki kullanımını literatür ışığında değerlendirmektir.
