Archery was very important in the past and has become a part of our lives. The purpose of this study is to emphasize its importance in our country and to contribute to archery branch. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of reaction velocity in male archers on hitting score of target throwing. For this purpose, 20 (10+10) male athletes between 15-17 age group (subject and control group) who engaged in active sports in Elazığ province Youth Services and Sports Provincial Directorate Archery team were formed research group of study. The 8-week measurement of the experimental group before and after the program (pre and post test) has been recorded. The measurement of control group has also been recorded on the same day and the control group hasn't done exercise. The training period of the experiment group was evaluated during 8 weeks of 3 days a week and one hour in a day within the framework of strenght exercises. Statistical analysis of the data obtained from the study was conducted using the SPSS 22 package program. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to determine whether the obtained data were normally distributed or not. Percentage and frequency analyzes of participants' demographics were made and Paired Samples T test and regression linear test were applied to investigate the effect of research group on target hit point of reaction duration. The statistical significance of the results was taken as (P <0.05). In the study, after 8 weeks of training, it was determined that the test group had a significant difference between right and left hand auditory and visual reaction speed, right hand and left hand grip strength and first and last test scores regarding hit point. In addition, it was found that there was a statistically negative correlation between the effect of reaction time on the hit point according to first and last test measurements of the experimental group, and this correlation was found to be more positive in the auditory right hand reaction value. There was no significant difference in the pre- and post-exercise CAD measurements of the experimental group for 8 weeks. It was concluded that the 8-week force exercises were effective on some parameters related to male archers (auditory and visual reaction, hand grip strength, hit point). It has been determined that the target throwing i.e. hitting of the athlete with a good reaction velocity is better. It can be said that this study which is done on male archers (15-17 age group) and the effects of the strength training given in the training schedule will contribute to the literature and if that such studies can be done for different age groups and ladies then that would draw more detailed paths regarding the subject.
