Standart Türkiye Türkçesi Konya Bozkır ağzı ağız araştırması şekil bilgisi Yörük Türkmen
Bozkır is a town in Konya which is 116 km far away from the city center and it is located in Mediterranean Region. Because of it’s location, it is in a transient area between Mediterranean and Continental climates. This situation has influenced the cultural structure of the town. So, it directly had an impact on characteristics of the dialect of the district. Characteristics of Bozkır dialect resembles to dialects of Sarıveliler, Ermenek in Karaman; Mut, Silifke and Anamur in Mersin; Gazipaşa, Alanaya, Gündoğmuş and Akseki in Antalya. It also represents general characteristics of other dialects of Konya.
It is known that Yoruks and Turkmens have lived in Bozkır and since it hasn’t received migration, it has been able to conserve its specific cultural structure until today. However, because of the recent technological improvements, its cultural structure has changed on a great extent. This situation has influenced the characteristics of the dialect negatively. Like other dialects, Bozkır dialect has also been influenced by the standart language and started to lose its local features.
The fact that no academical study has been done about Bozkır dialect yet is a big deficiency in terms of improvement of Turkish language and researches on dialects. In order to overcome those deficiencies, Bozkır dialect’s morphological characteristics which are different from standart Turkish language in Turkey have been investigated. It was focused especially on morphological structures which are rare in other dialects of Anatolia.
