This study aims to examine and evaluate the work named Character Construction in the Qur'an written by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasin PİŞGİN. The work can be considered as the first study in its field in terms of focusing on the construction of the positive and negative aspects of the human character under the guidance of the Quran. In the work, in which the character construction system of revelation and its principles are brought to the fore, the determinations of sciences such as behavioral sciences, education, psychology and social psychology are evaluated from the point of tafsir. In this respect, the book called Character Construction in the Qur'an has the feature of an interdisciplinary study and the value of preliminary idea and resource for researchers in areas such as tafsir, Psychology of Religion and Religious Education. In his work, the author attempted to reveal how the Quran, which is the only source that will bring human perfection in all aspects, gradually builds human character and personality. In this framework, the author handles the character construction method of the Quran as a character evolution in three stages. According to him, the character construction of the Quran goes through a three-stage process, namely the construction of mind, heart and behavior, and at the end of this process, human has a structure in which some virtues and values suitable for his creation will emerge. The author states that man's ability to live in accordance with the meaning and purpose of creation, as well as realizing himself in the direction of divine obedience, depends on this process of construction and evolution. In the work, the example of the Prophet and the prophetic construction stages are presented to the reader as a role model of the character construction of revelation. Therefore, it is very important for the individual and social change that Pişgin put forward a proposal for the reshaping of human character in accordance with the divine guide in his work titled Character Construction in the Qur'an in an age where human values are destroyed due to some tendencies displayed by modern "isms" and ideologies.
