Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Covid-19 Pandemisi Sonrasına Yönelik Yaşadıkları Durumların İncelenmesi

Öz

Covid-19 pandemisi başta sağlık olmak üzere, ekonomi, ulaşım, iletişim, eğlence ve günlük yaşantıyı etkilediği gibi eğitim alanını da derinlemesine etkilemiştir. Alınan tedbirler kapsamında yaklaşık 1,5 sene eğitim ve öğretime ara verildikten sonra normalleşme kapsamında 2021-2022 eğitim ve öğretim döneminde yeniden yüz yüze eğitime başlanmıştır. Bu araştırmada yüz yüze eğitime dönüş kapsamında üniversite öğrencilerinin Covid-19 pandemisi sürecine ve sonrasına yönelik yaşadıkları durumların ortaya çıkartılması amaçlanmıştır. Üniversitelerde yeniden yüz yüze eğitimin başladığı 2021-2022 eğitim ve öğretim yılı Kasım ayı içerisinde araştırma yapılmıştır. Araştırma nitel araştırma deseniyle yürütülmüş, yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile eğitim fakültesine devam eden 31 üçüncü sınıf öğrencisinden veriler toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler içerik analiz yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda; öğrencilerin yüz yüze eğitime dönmüş olmaktan memnun oldukları, anlaşılmaktadır. Okulda ve yurtta alınan tedbirlerin olmasına rağmen; sınıfların, kantinin, yemekhanenin, odaların ve asansörlerin kalabalık olması alınan tedbirlere uymayı güçleştirmektedir. Ayrıca bu ortak yaşam alanlarında temizlik ve hijyenle ilgili çabaların yetersiz olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin okulda pandemi tedbirlerine uyma oranının yurttakilerden daha yüksek olduğu söylenebilir. Öğrencilerin önemli bir kısmı, okulda ve yurtta maske takma, sosyal mesafeye uyma ve hijyen kurallarına uyulmadığını; sosyalleşme hevesiyle tedbirlerin unutulduğunu ve aşı yaptırmalarına güvenip tedbirlerin ihmal edildiğini düşünmektedir. Covid-19 pandemisinin hayatı zorlaştırdığı, insanları mutsuz ve umutsuz yaptığı, insanların artık pandemiden sıkıldığı, insanların bulaş riski nedeniyle kaygılı oldukları ve bu nedenle daha az sosyalleştikleri, daha az iletişim kurdukları ve birbirlerine daha soğuk davrandıkları tespit edilmiştir.

Examining the Situations Experienced by University Students in Post Covid-19 Pandemic
