HOFSTEDE’NİN KÜLTÜR BOYUTLARI ÖLÇEĞİNİN TÜRKÇEYE UYARLANMASI; GEÇERLİK VE GÜVENİRLİK ÇALIŞMASI

Öz

Bu çalışmada, toplumsal düzeydeki kültürel inançları
belirleyebilmek amacıyla Hofstede’nin geliştirdiği beş boyutlu kültürel
değerler ölçeğini, bireysel bağlamda ele alan,
Yoo, Donthu ve
Lenartowicz (2011)’in Bireysel Kültürel Değerler Ölçeği’nin Türkçe uyarlaması
amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla ilk çeviri, ilk çeviriyi değerlendirme, geri çeviri,
geri çeviriyi değerlendirme ve uzman görüşünden oluşan beş aşamalı teknik
kullanılmıştır. D
ilsel eşdeğerlik çalışması yapılmış, yüksek düzeyde, pozitif ve anlamlı
bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür.



Ankara ili, Mamak, Gölbaşı ve Çankaya
ilçe merkezlerindeki ilkokullarda görev yapan toplam 245 öğretmen üzerinde
uygulama yapılmıştır.
AFA’da elde edilen değerlere göre ölçekte yer alan maddelerin
iyi derecede ayırt edici özellikte oldukları belirlenmiş ve ölçek, 26 maddeli
özgün yapısını korumuştur. Analizler sonucunda beş faktörün açıkladığı toplam
varyans %
57,53 olarak belirlenmiştir. Ölçeğin KMO değeri .816 olarak bulunmuştur. Ölçek,
güç mesafesi, belirsizlikten kaçınma, kolektivizm, uzun erimlilik ve erilliği
yansıtan beş faktörlü yapı sergilemektedir.
