Nomofobi ile Fiziksel Sağlık Sorunları arasında Bir İlişki var mıdır?

Amaç: Araştırma toplumda akıllı telefon kullanan bireylerde nomofobi ile fiziksel sağlık sorunları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipte tasarlanan araştırma Kasım- Aralık 2020 tarihleri arasında yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Ağrı il merkezinde yaşayan bireyler, örneklemini ise kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile ulaşılabilen 746 kişi oluşturmuştur. Veriler “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Nomofobi Ölçeği” kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizi SPSS-25 paket programında yapılmış olup, önemlilik düzeyi p<0,05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan bireylerin yaş ortalamasının 32,63±11,31 olduğu, %63,0’ünün kadınlardan oluştuğu ve %31,5’inin günlük olarak 5 saatten fazla telefon kullandığı bulunmuştur. Katılımcıların orta düzeyde nomofobik olduğu bulunmuştur. Yaşın, günlük telefon kullanım süresinin ve çeşitli fiziksel sorunlar (Baş ağrısı, uykusuzluk, sinirlilik, yorgunluk, bel boyun sırt ağrısı ve göz ağrısı) yaşamanın nomofobi üzerinde etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir (p<0,05). Sonuç: Toplumda nomofobi önemli bir sorundur. Katılımcıların akıllı telefon kullanımına bağlı olarak yaşadıkları nomofobi düzeyi fiziksel sağlık sorunlarını etkileyebilmektedir. Nomofobi ile başa çıkmak için akıllı telefonla geçirilen süre kısaltılmalı ve bilinçli telefon kullanımını artıran girişimler yapılmalıdır.

Objective: The research was conducted to examine the relationship between nomophobia and physical health problems in individuals using smartphones in the society. Methods: The descriptive study was conducted between November and December 2020. The population of the study consisted of individuals living in the city center of Ağrı, and the sample consisted of 746 people who could be easily reached by sampling method.Data were collected using the "Personal Information Form" and the "Nomophobia scale". The analysis of the data was made in the SPSS-25 package program and the significance level was accepted as p<0.05. Results: The average age of the individuals participating in the study was 32.63 ± 11.31, 63.0% were women and 31.5% used the phone for more than 5 hours daily. That your location is moderately nomophobic. When age, daily phone time usage and experiencing various physical problems (headache, insomnia, nervousness, fatigue, waist, neck, back pain and eye pain) affect nomophobia (p<0.05). Conclusion: Nomophobia is an important problem in society. The physical health of the user at the level of nomophobia they experience in connection with the smartphone can help. In order to cope with nomophobia, the time spent with a smartphone should be shortened and attempts should be made to increase conscious phone use.
