Öz

Bu araştırmada üniversite
öğrencilerinde özdenetim ile internet bağımlılığı arasındaki ilişkinin
incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, basit tesadüfi örnekleme
yoluyla belirlenen 295 üniversite öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veriler,
Özdenetim Ölçeği ve İnternet Bağımlılık Ölçeği kullanılarak elde edilmiştir.
Verilerin analizinde Yapısal Eşitlik Modellemesi (YEM) kullanılmıştır.
Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda, özdenetim ile internet
bağımlılığı arasında negatif yönde ve anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu ve özdenetimin
internet bağımlılığının yordayıcısı olduğu bulunmuştur.
