With the developments in communication technology, mass media has become widespread and culture has become a commodity that is produced and marketed. As a new media product, digital games have become very popular by increasing the interaction between the audience and the media text. The East-West distinction, which is underlined through the media, is also heavily involved in digital games that have become popular in recent years. The perception of the other East is reinforced with the content of violence and hate, which are frequently included in digital games. Today, users not only play the game on their own, but also reproduce the existing violence and hate speech in digital games by interacting with others while playing live games with the accounts they open on social platforms. Therefore, the study aims to find an answer to the question of what role game videos play in the reproduction of the 'Oriental' image in digital games. In this context, the game videos named ‘CS GO’ in Dexonn account, which shares the games played live on Youtube, were examined by content analysis method.
