Öz

İnsanoğlunun yaşam alanı bulduğu her ortam sosyolojik, kültürel, hukuki ya da ekonomik olguları içermektedir. Bu ortamın dijital bir dünya olması bu olguların oluşumuna engel teşkil etmemektedir. Günümüz teknolojilerinden Metaverse, insana yaşam alanı sunan yeni bir platformdur. Henüz emekleme aşamasında olan bu platformun odağında insanın yer alması platform içerisinde sosyolojik, kültürel, hukuki ya da ekonomik olguları beraberinde getirecektir. Bu olgular bir sorunsal olarak ele alındığında etik sorunsalı ve kamusal sorunsallar olarak iki grupta tasnif edilebilir. Çalışma Metaverse platformunun teknik altyapısını aktararak bu platformlarda olası etik ve kamusal sorunsalları ortaya koymayı amaçlamıştır. Gerek günümüzde gerekse gelecekte yaşanabilecek sorunsallar için çözüm önerileri ortaya konulmuştur. Literatürde Metaverse platformunun kamusallık yönü incelenmediği dikkate alındığında çalışma bu alanı literatüre taşımada önayak olabilecektir. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulguların başında Metaverse platformunda etik ve kamusallık sorunsalının mevcut olduğu ve bir otorite tarafından bu alanların denetim ve gözetim altında tutulması gerektiği yer almaktadır. Platformun kendi bünyesinde kamusallık ya da etik açısından bir aksaklık mevcutsa bir otoritenin doğrudan bu alanı düzenlemesi gerekmektedir. Diğer taraftan bu sorunsallara ülkeler kendi çabalarıyla çözüm geliştirebileceği gibi ulusüstü bir kurum tarafından da çözümler geliştirilebilir.

Metaverse Ethics Future and Public Regulations

Öz

Every environment in which human beings find a living space includes sociological, cultural, legal or economic phenomenon. The fact that this environment is a digital world does not prevent the formation of these phenomena. Metaverse, one of today's technologies, is a new platform that offers a living space to people. The human being at the center of this platform, which is still in its infancy, will bring sociological, cultural, legal or economic facts within the platform. When these phenomena are considered as a problematic, they can be classified in two groups as ethical problematic and public problematic. The study aimed to reveal the possible ethical and public problematics in these platforms by transferring the technical infrastructure of the Metaverse platform. Solution suggestions have been put forward for the problems that can be experienced both today and in the future. Considering that the publicity aspect of the Metaverse platform has not been examined in the literature, the study may be a Pioneer in bringing this field to the literature. At the beginning of the findings obtained from the study is that there is an ethical and a publicity problematic in the Metaverse platform and that these areas should be kept under control and surveillance by an authority. If there is a defect in terms of publicity or ethics within the platform itself, an authority should directly regulate this area. On the other hand, countries can develop solutions to these problems with their own efforts, or solutions can be developed by a supranational institution.
