The Increasing Importance of the Middle Corridor in World Politics and Eurasia

Öz

The increasing tension in world politics is at its highest level since the Cold War. This situation causes global insecurity and destabilization of various regions. It also negatively affects various trade and transportation routes. In addition, various transformations are taking place on a regional scale. The developments taking place in the vast Eurasian geography are among the most important examples of the transformation process. In this context, the Middle Corridor will be discussed in the study. It will be examined how the developments in global and regional politics affect the importance of the Middle Corridor. At the same time, the transformation in Eurasia and the opportunities created by the Middle Corridor will be discussed.

Orta Koridor’un Dünya Politikasında ve Avrasya’da Artan Önemi

Öz

Dünya siyasetinde artan gerilim, Soğuk Savaş’tan bu yana en yüksek seviyesindedir. Bu durum küresel boyutta güvensizliğe ve çeşitli bölgelerin istikrarsızlaşmasına neden olmaktadır. Ayrıca çeşitli ticaret ve taşımacılık güzergahlarını da olumsuz etkilemektedir. Bunun yanı sıra bölgesel boyutta da çeşitli dönüşümler yaşanmaktadır. Geniş Avrasya coğrafyasında yaşanan gelişmeler, dönüşüm sürecinin en önemli örnekleri arasındadır. Bu bağlamda çalışmada Orta Koridor ele alınacaktır. Küresel ve bölgesel siyasette yaşanan gelişmelerin Orta Koridor’un önemini nasıl etkilediği incelenecektir. Aynı zamanda Avrasya’daki dönüşüm ve Orta Koridor’un yarattığı fırsatlara değinilecektir.
