He was born in 1982 in the Aydınalan village of Kars Merkez. He completed his primary education in the primary school of the Aydınalan village of Kars Merkez. He completed his secondary education in İstanbul Üsküdar İhsan Kurşunoğlu middle school and his high school education in Ataşehir Habire Yahşi (Y.D.A) high school. He started studying at Kahramanmaraş Sütçüimam University Faculty of Agriculture in 2004 and graduated from the undergraduate program in 2008. He started his master's degree in the Department of Agricultural Economics at the Faculty of Agriculture in the same year and graduated in 2011. He started working as a Research Assistant in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Bingöl University Faculty of Agriculture in 2012. He completed his doctorate in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Atatürk University Faculty of Agriculture. He is married and has two daughters.

Jiban Shrestha is an internationally known journal editor and reviewer. He is widely networked scientist, presently working as senior researcher at the National Plant Breeding and Genetics Research Centre (NPBGRC), Nepal Agricultural Research Council (NARC), Khumaltar, Lalitpur, Nepal. He is scientist and plant breeder and is currently working in rice and maize breeding. He has published more than 300 journal articles and 4 books. He is senior editor working in editorial works over 10 years. He has been editing/reviewing articles from reputed publishers such as Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, PLOS ONE, MDPI, BMC, PeerJ, Frontiers, SAGE, De Gruyter, Hindawi, Cambridge, Universities, and Societies journals. He had reviewed more than 450 articles and edited more than 100 articles for renowned journals. He has guided 10 agricultural graduates and 4 postgraduate students in their thesis research. He has provided scientific article writing and data analysis training to students and researchers at national and international universities. He has provided agricultural training to farmers for increased food security and climate change.
