DUYGUSAL EMEK, İŞ YÜKÜ ALGISI VE ALGILANAN ÖRGÜTSEL DESTEK: ÖZEL GÜVENLİK GÖREVLİLERİ ÜZERİNE BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Öz

Bu araştırmada özel güvenlik görevlilerinin duygusal emek, iş yükü algısı ve algıladıkları örgütsel destek düzeylerinin ne olduğu ve bu değişkenler arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nicel araştırma tasarımı ve kesitsel veri toplama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Ankara’da üniversite ve sağlık kuruluşlarında görev yapan 193 özel güvenlik görevlisi oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verileri çevrimiçi anket yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Anket formu katılımcı bilgileri ve araştırma değişkenleri olmak üzere iki bölümden oluşmuştur. Araştırma verileri SPSS ve SmartPLS programlarıyla analiz edilmiş ve tanımlayıcı istatistikler ile yapısal eşitlik modellemesi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre özel güvenlik görevlilerinin duygusal emek kullanım düzeyleri ve iş yükü algıları yüksek, algıladıkları örgütsel destek düzeyinin düşük olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma hipotezlerinin test edilmesiyle duygusal emek kullanımının iş yükü algısını arttırdığı ve algılanan örgütsel desteğin yüzsel rol yapma davranışlarını ve iş yükü algısını azalttığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

EMOTIONAL LABOR, WORKLOAD PERCEPTION AND PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT: A STUDY ON PRIVATE SECURITY GUARDS

Öz

In this study, it is aimed to examine the emotional labor, workload perception and perceived organizational support levels of private security guards and the relationship between these variables. Quantitative research design and cross-sectional data collection methods were used in the study. The Sample of the study consisted of 193 private security guards working mainly in universities and health institutions in Ankara. The research data were collected by online survey method. The questionnaire form consisted of two parts: participant information and research variables scales. The research data were analyzed with SPSS and SmartPLS programs and descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling were used. According to the findings, it was determined that the level of emotional labor use and workload perceptions of private security officers were high and the level of perceived organizational support was low. By testing the research hypotheses, it was concluded that the use of emotional labor increases the perception of workload and perceived organizational support decreases surface acting and workload perception.
