Öz

Turkey Isbank Cultural Publications work done by the 9th Edition of Turkey's economic history of the last 200 years are discussed in terms of different variables. The work consists of 5 main titles and subtitles in total. The work consists of 377 pages in total. Starting from the 19th century Ottoman economy work before the process of Turkey's economy until the 2000s, offers the reader the main lines. The work begins with the author's preface. After the preface section, there is a main heading titled "Processes and Concepts". In this section, the author informed the reader by giving general information about economic developments and population. First gave information about 200 years of economic growth and human development in the world and Turkey. Then he touched on the subject of "Institutions and Economic Development". In the third chapter “19. Century before "Ottoman Economy and Institutions". In the last section of this chapter "Last year, Turkey's population of 200 being". The author's use of tables and graphs in this section helps the reader to follow the subject visually without getting bored and with pleasure.

TÜRKİYE'NİN 200 YILLIK İKTİSADİ TARİHİ

Öz

Türkiye İş Bankası Kültür Yayınları tarafından 9. Basımı yapılan eser Türkiye’nin son 200 yıllık iktisadi tarihini çeşitli değişkenler açısından ele almaktadır. Eser toplamda 5 ana başlık ve alt başlıklardan meydana gelmektedir. Eser toplamda 377 sayfadan oluşmaktadır. Eser 19. yüzyıl öncesinde Osmanlı ekonomisinden başlayarak 2000’li yılların Türkiye ekonomisine kadar olan süreci ana hatları ile okuyucusuna sunmaktadır. Eser yazarın önsözü ile başlamaktadır. Önsöz bölümünden sonra “Süreçler ve Kavramlar” başlıklı ana başlık bulunmaktadır. Bu bölümde yazar ekonomik gelişmeler ve nüfus hakkında genel bilgiler vererek okuyucuyu bilgilendirmiştir. İlk olarak Dünyada ve Türkiye’de 200 yıllık iktisadi büyüme ve insani gelişme hakkında bilgi vermiştir. Ardından ise “Kurumlar ve İktisadi Gelişme” konusuna değinmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde “19. Yüzyıl öncesinde Osmanlı Ekonomisi ve Kurumları” konusuna değinmiştir. Bu bölümün son başlığını ise “Son 200 Yılda Türkiye’nin Nüfusu” oluşturmaktadır. Yazarın bu bölümde tablo ve grafikler kullanması konu ile ilgili görsel olarak ta okuyucunun sıkılmadan ve keyif alarak konuyu takip etmesine yardımcı olmaktadır.
