Ethical Principles and Commitments

The Author, who signs the Copyright License Form and submits it to Anadolu University Journal of Law Faculty (AndHD), acknowledges that the submitted manuscript (a) has been prepared in accordance with the Ethical Principles and Publication Policy of AndHD and the best practices determined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA), and (b) is original, (c) has not been published elsewhere or sent elsewhere for publication, (d) does not violate the personal rights of others, (e) the text, figures, photographs, documents and other visuals in the manuscript do not violate the copyrights of others, and (f) is accepted to be published in an issue deemed appropriate by the editorial board after the completion of the evaluation process.

Authorization for the Exercise of Copyright and Author’s Rights in the Evaluation Process

Upon the signing and submission of the Copyright License Form to AndHD, a non-exclusive license agreement shall be deemed executed with the Author. Under this agreement, the Author grants Anadolu University the authority to exercise all financial rights over the manuscript, including adaptation, reproduction, representation, printing, publication, distribution, and communication to the public via the internet, without any restriction as to number, location, or duration. Notwithstanding this License, the Author shall retain ownership of the copyright to the manuscript.

Fees

The publication of articles and the conduct of evaluation processes within AndHD are not subject to any fees. No submission or publication fees are charged for articles submitted to or accepted for publication in AndHD, nor is any compensation provided for peer review activities. All content published in AndHD is made available to readers free of charge.

Copyright Pertaining the Manuscripts Accepted for Publication

The authorization conferred by this Form shall extend to the final version of the manuscript, which is prepared for publication following modifications made in accordance with the recommendations of editors and reviewers. Upon conclusion of the evaluation process, manuscripts accepted for publication shall be published by AndHD under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. This license authorizes third parties to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, provided that the material is not used for commercial purposes. In instances of non-commercial use, it shall be mandatory to provide proper attribution to the material, include a link to the license, and disclose any modifications made to the material. Compliance with these conditions shall not be construed as approval by Anadolu University, as the license holder, of third parties or their manner of use of the material.

Copyright Manuscripts Not Accepted for Publication

If the manuscript is deemed unsuitable for publication for any reason, it shall be returned to the Author, and Anadolu University’s non-exclusive rights of use, as specified herein, shall terminate.
