The aim of this research is to examine postgraduate theses on ethical leadership through content analysis. In the present study, the situation was determined by examining the year the theses were published, the language, the university, the research methods used in the theses, the variables studied, the sectors applied and the ethical leadership scales used as a measurement tool. In this context, 218 theses belonging to the years 2003-2020 in the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) were analyzed. As a result of the research, the year with the most studies (n= 34) in master's theses is 2019; In doctoral dissertations, it is seen that it is 2017 (n = 10). In master theses, demographic factors (n = 47), organizational commitment (n= 32) and organizational justice (n= 20); in doctoral dissertations, organizational commitment (n = 6) and ethical climate (n= 6) were determined. It has been determined that 90.29% of the master theses are quantitative, 6.86% qualitative and 2.86% mixed method. It is seen that 83.72% of doctoral theses were carried out by quantitative methods, 11.63% by mixed and 4.65% by qualitative methods. It is understood that the researchers used the scale developed by Brown, Trevino and Harrison (2005) (n =62) and Yılmaz (2005) (n= 54) to measure ethical leadership in master theses prepared by quantitative method. In doctoral dissertations, the most frequently used ethical leadership scales are similar to those in master theses. It is understood that master's (n= 28) and doctoral dissertations (n = 95) on ethical leadership are mainly prepared in the public sector. While 48% of the theses of master's theses were prepared in the Department of Education and Training, 44.19% of the doctoral theses were prepared in the Department of Business Administration.
