The reason for the are not employment of young people varies from country to country. As in developed countries, youth unemployment is a major problem in developing countries. One of the most important reasons for this is the fact that countries can not achieve the economic growth rate they are aiming for. This situation does not only negatively affect the participation of the potential workforce in employment. It also causes their young people to be unemployed. In recent years, the case of youth unemployment, which has become a major problem for the world economy, Turkey has become one of the major problems in the economy. So econometric analysis of the relationship between youth unemployment and economic growth in Turkey between the years 1990-2016 in the study were examined by means of. In the analysis part of the study, first of all, unit root test analysis of the series was performed. Whether the series acts together in the long term has been investigated by Maki cointegration analysis. Finally, Toda Yamamoto analyzed causality and found a two-way causality relationship between economic growth and youth unemployment.
