The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between emotional intelligence, job satisfaction and burnout. Within the scope of the study, the data obtained by the survey method from 283 employees working in Hakkari state hospital were analyzed. In order to test the hypotheses, structural equation modeling method was used through LISREL8.7 software. Before structural equation modeling, confirmatory factor analysis was applied to estimate the measurement model and determine the construct validity. According to the results of the research, it has been determined that emotional intelligence affects job satisfaction positively and negatively affects personal failure that one of the dimensions of burnout. In the study, it has been determined that the dimensions of burnout, emotional exhaustion and personal failure negatively affect job satisfaction. On the other hand, it has been observed that emotional intelligence did not have a significant effect on the emotional exhaustion and depersonalization dimensions of burnout.
