Sultan Sevinç Kurt Konakoglu was born in İzmir in 1988. After completion of her elementary, middle and high school education in İstanbul, she got his Bachelor’s degree from Karadeniz Technical University, School of Forestry, Landscape Architecture Department in 2010. In 2011, she was appointed as a research assistant at the Department of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of Amasya University. Then, she got her Master’s degree in 2013 and Ph.D. degree in 2018 from Karadeniz Technical University, Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences. Between 2017-2018 years, she worked at ‘Polond Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences University’ with the ERASMUS program. She worked as an Assist. Prof. Dr. at Amasya University between 2019-2022 years. She has been working as Assoc. Prof. Dr. at Amasya University since 2022. She has several studies and papers published in various academic journals in English and in Turkish on her primary research interests, which are including landscape planning, landscape design, participatory approach, tourism planning, greenway planning and recreation planning.
Sara DEMIR, PhD., is Assoc. Prof. Dr. in the Landscape Department at the Bursa Technical
University, Bursa, Turkey. Her fields of expertise include landscape planning, historical lanscape
character asssessment, landscape character assessment, landscape ecology, nature conservation,bature-based solution,blue- green
infrastructure, ecosystem restoration, ecotourism, sustainable tourism, multi-criteria decision-making methods, geographic
information system.
Sara DEMIR, PhD., is Assoc. Prof. Dr. in the Landscape Department at the Bursa Technical
University, Bursa, Turkey. Her fields of expertise include landscape planning, historical lanscape

In 2007, they entered the Department of Landscape Architecture at Karadeniz Technical University and graduated in 2011 as the second in their department and the third in their faculty. In 2011, they qualified to begin a Master's programme at the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Institute of Science and Technology and received the title of Senior Landscape Architect in 2015 by presenting their Master's thesis entitled "Establishment of a GIS-Based Campus Equipment Information System (CEIS): The case of KTÜ Kanuni Campus". In the spring semester of 2019, they started the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) 100/2000 Ph.D. programme in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Institute of Science and Technology. In July of the same year, they were appointed as research assistants at the Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture Department of the Faculty of Architecture at Amasya University, where they continue to work.
She graduated from Bilkent University, Department of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture in 2016. In 2020, she completed her master's degree at Ankara University, Department of Landscape Architecture with her thesis titled "Evaluation of Child-Friendly City Approach" and is continuing her doctoral studies at the same university. She works on the planning and design of livable cities for children. Since 2018, she has been working as a Research Assistant at Kırıkkale University, Department of Landscape Architecture. She has been working in various roles such as secretary, layout editor, and proofreader in the journals "Turkish Journal of Landscape Studies (PEYAD)", "GSI Journals Serie A: Advancements in Tourism Recreation and Sports Sciences" and "Journal of Architectural Sciences and Applications" within DergiPark.
