Ilaria Cavaliere (Bari, 18th May 1995) is a PhD architect. She graduated in Architecture in July 2020 at the Polytechnic of Bari with a vote of 110 cum laude, presenting a dissertation entitled "Architecture and Virtual Reality. Towards the definition of innovative design methods and models".
She discussed her PhD thesis at the Polytechnic of Bari in April 2024. The title of the dissertation was "3D printing for Architecture. Additive manufacturing applied to stereotomic design" and it dealt with the use of large-scale 3D printing for innovative stereotomic vaulted spaces.
She has assisted prof. Giuseppe Fallacara in the Architectural Design IV course held at the Polytechnic of Bari since the academic year 2020-2021 and she has taken part in numerous workshops and seminars with the role of tutor and speaker.
She is lecturer on contract of the course “Stereotomic Design” of the Master’s degree course of Architecture of the Polytechnic of Bari, department of Architecture, Construction and Design (ArCoD).
She has been part of the New Fundamentals Research Group since 2021.
