The aim of the Journal of Balikesir University Institute of Science and Technology  is; publishing original research articles, short articles, reviews made in the fields of Science, Engineering Sciences and Science-Mathematics Education in order to create a respectable academic resource in these fields.

Journal of Balikesir University Institute of Science and Technology is a scientific and referee journal and has been published regularly twice a year since 1999 (June and December). The language of the journal is Turkish and English.
