Article Evaluation Process

Article Evaluation Process

Our journal accepts for consideration manuscripts that have not been previously published or are not under review for publication in another journal and are approved by each author.
All research articles published in this journal undergo a preliminary review by the editorial team and at least two anonymous peer reviews.

Editorial (Internal) Review

Each article submitted to the journal is first subjected to iThenticate scanning for plagiarism detection.
After the plagiarism check, the articles are examined by the editorial team in terms of compliance with the editorial principles adopted by the journal, subject, purpose, importance, scope, scientific content and form, and compliance with the ISNAD citation system.
Articles that pass this preliminary review stage are sent to at least two national/international referees for double-blind review.

The publication decision is made by the Editorial Board after the arrangements made by the authors in line with the requests of the referees and the referee process.
The preliminary review and referee process takes an average of 15-16 weeks.

Referee Review

The Field Editor appoints at least two referees to evaluate the work in accordance with the double-blind refereeing system (the identities of the author and referees are kept confidential to each other).
In order for the work to be published in the journal, at least two referees must give a favourable opinion.
In cases where one of the referees is positive and the other one is negative, the work is directed to the 3rd referee.
The referees who give positive and negative feedback are expected to explain in detail the reasons affecting their opinions.
The editor and the editorial board review the referee reports and make the final decision about the work.

Author Responsibilities

The author is obliged to undertake that he/she sends his/her work only to this journal.
The author is expected to make the corrections communicated to him/her by the editor and assistant editors regarding the conformity of the work with the journal's publication principles, spelling rules and the Attribution Citation System 2nd Edition.
The author does not have the authority to appoint referees and intervene in the article publication process.

Editor Responsibilities

It is the Editor's responsibility to observe the conformity of the work with the journal's publication policy and to determine whether the work will enter the publication process in this direction.
The referee has full authority to publish the work after the evaluation process is completed.
The Editor is expected to make an objective assessment of the work, regardless of the author's personality, identity, race, race, language, religion and political opinion.
It is the Editor's responsibility to monitor that the double-blind review system is carried out appropriately. The identities of authors and referees should be kept confidential and possible conflicts of interest between authors and referees should be avoided.

Referee Responsibilities

The referee is expected to make his/her assessment within the time period expected of him/her after he/she has undertaken to do so.
If there is a situation in which he/she cannot make the evaluation, he/she is expected to inform the Editor immediately.
Reviewers are expected not to have a subjective attitude while reviewing the manuscripts.
They are expected to convey their favourable or unfavourable opinion about the work to the author and the Editor with justifications.
